About

Louis Plung is the Managing Partner of Louis Plung & Company. He joined the Firm in 1984, became partner in 1989, and was made Managing Partner in 1992. He provides services for clients in a wide range of industries, from closely-held businesses to large publicly-owned companies.

Description of Practice

For more than 25 year, Lou has specialized in helping entrepreneurial companies grow and add value to their organizations. In addition to providing financial and business consulting services, he has developed a reputation for his expertise in strategic planning, financial analysis, mergers nd acquisitions, and estate planning.

Lou has worked closely with clients in the real estate, distribution, architectural and manufacturing industries. He has assisted clients in turnaround situations and workout agreements.

He sits on clients' audit committees, and as such is very knowledgeable of the key risk issues facing clients. Lou is also a member of numerous other client committees (pension, liability, legal, compliance; etc.), which enables him to provide a "big picture" perspective to his clients. He has a background in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and has consulted with clients in both COX implementation and continuing SOX compliance.
